Who we are and what we fix
We repair and install residential garage doors and openers, and that is the whole business. The truck, the tools and the price board are all set up around one kind of job.
In practice that means springs, lift cables, rollers, hinges, bent track, openers, photo eyes, remotes and weather seals, plus new doors and openers when a repair no longer makes sense. One-piece tilt-up doors and multifamily garages are on the list too.
We are a mobile service with no showroom. The money that would go into a storefront goes into truck stock instead, and that is a large part of what lets us post prices in the first place.

How our pricing works
Every repair on this site has a posted starting price, and that one figure covers the part and the labor together. You hear the number for your door on the phone, before anyone drives out.
Each starting price assumes a standard residential door. Heavier or wider doors, high-cycle springs and hard-to-find older parts cost more, and the note under each line of the price board says which ones move.
Booking the repair means paying no separate trip charge. The diagnostic line on the board is billed only when we come out and you decide against the repair, and Clark County jobs carry Washington sales tax on top.
How a visit with us goes
Every job follows the same four steps, from the first text to the final test run.
You tell us what the door is doing
Call or text with the symptom. A photo of the whole door and a close shot of the spring or the opener label usually lets us name the repair on the spot.
You hear the price before we drive
We give you the repair and its posted price on the phone. If the photo leaves a question open, we tell you what might change the job before you book, not after we arrive.
We fix it with parts from the truck
The technician confirms the diagnosis, shows you the worn part and makes the repair. Odd sizes and discontinued parts are the usual reason a second trip is ever needed.
We test it with you watching
Before we pack up, the door gets a balance check, an auto-reverse test and a run from the remote and the wall button. You keep the old parts if you want them, plus a written note of the work.
What rides on the truck
The truck is stocked for the repairs Portland-area doors need most, so a typical job finishes without a run to a supplier.
- Torsion and extension springs in the common wire sizes, with winding bars, cones and safety cables
- Lift cables, cable drums, and center and end bearings
- Sealed nylon rollers, hinges in the common numbers, and track brackets
- Opener drive gears, trolleys, wall buttons, photo eyes and universal remotes
- Bottom seal and retainer stock for standard door widths
- Clamps, levels and the tools to balance and safety test the door before we leave

The rules we hold ourselves to
These are the commitments behind every visit, written down so you can hold us to them.
- The price is agreed before we drive out. If something at the door changes the job, we stop and agree on the new number before any work continues.
- You see the old parts. The broken spring, the frayed cable or the stripped gear comes down where you can look at it, and it stays with you if you want it.
- A repair, when a repair is right. Most doors need a part, not a replacement, and that is what we will tell you.
- When replacing the door or the opener really is the better value, we price both paths side by side and leave the decision with you.
- Tension work waits for the visit. On the phone we help you make the door safe and keep people back from it, and the spring and cable work happens when we arrive.
Ready to get the door moving again?
Call with the symptom, or text a photo of the door and the opener, and we will name the part and the posted price before anyone drives out.
